It's time for the third checkpoint in the 2012 Mount TBR Reading Challenge! At 3/4 of the way through the year, things are not looking good for me making it up Mount Ararat.
Here are the books I've read so far (my goal is 40):
- Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt
- The Grimoire Chronicles: Veil Between Worlds by Sally Dubats
- The Hollow Tree by Janet Lunn
- Stolen by Kelley Armstrong
- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
- John Dies at the End by David Wong
- The Twits by Roald Dahl
- Coraline by Neil Gaiman
- Against the Fall of Night by Arthur C. Clarke
- Charmed Season 9 Volume 1 by Paul Ruditis
- The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More by Roald Dahl
- The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson
- Jesus on Mars by Philip José Farmer
- The Mummy by Anne Rice
- The Visitor (Animorphs #2) by K.A. Applegate
- The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
- The Wish List by Eoin Colfer
- The Encounter (Animorphs #3) by K.A. Applegate
- Sabrina the Teenage Witch #14: Spying Eyes by Nancy Holder
- You are Microscopic (Choose Your Own Adventure #130) by Edward Packard
- Claws by Will Weaver
- The Message (Animorphs #4) by K.A. Applegate
- Carrie by Stephen King
- The Witching Hour by Anne Rice (in progress)
- The Complete Works of Lewis Carroll (in progress)
To give you just a quick update on my other 2012 challenges, I'm on my 7th book for The Anne Rice Challenge. Definitely nowhere near my original goal, but that was just unrealistic! For the Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge, I'm at 56 out of 78, which is only 1 book behind, so things are looking good there (especially with the read-a-thon coming up). Considering the size of some of the books I've been reading, I'm very pleased with my results so far. Speaking of which, the two big books I'm currently reading are both in my top 3 longest books on my TBR pile. I'm not sure I'll get to Shogun this year. I'm also still doing well in the A-Z Reading Challenge, for which I have 5 books left to read.
Here's hoping for a burst of energy and speed to take you to the top! Thanks for checking in!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bev! I'll need a big burst of energy to finish all my challenges before the end of the year!
