Reading Challenge Addict

See my 2013 Reading Challenge Addict sign-up post for details of all my 2013 challenges! Includes links to my sign-up post for each challenge, which is where I post each challenge's progress.

The Canadian Book Challenge

Read 13 Canadian books each year! I'm participating in the sixth year of this challenge, which runs form July 1, 2012, to July 1, 2013. See my progress here.

Ongoing Challenges

The Read Your OWN Library! Challenge

This challenge was designed for people like me, with out-of-control book collections. I started in November, 2011. See my progress here. (This challenge is currently on hold, but I'm still doing it anyway.)

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon

I participated in the Read-a-Thon for the first time in October 2011 and loved it. It takes place every April and October, and I plan to do it every time. Here are the starting blog posts for the read-a-thons I've done so far:
October 2011 (on my genealogy blog)
April 2012
October 2012

2012 Challenges

2012 Anne Rice Challenge

The 2012 Anne Rice Challenge

Hosted by me! Read Anne Rice books in 2012. Anywhere from 1, to all of them! See my progress here.

2012 Reading Challenge

2012 Reading Challenge
Lianne has read 33 books toward her goal of 78 books.

For the last few years my goal has been to read 50 books each year. In 2011, I finally achieved that goal, and in fact I read 72 books! So, in accordance with the Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge (see further down this page), my goal is to read 78 books in 2012.

Mount TBR Reading Challenge

Set a goal for a number of books to read that you owned before the year started and have never read. I'll be participating in 2012 with a goal of 40 books. See my progress here.

2012 Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge

Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge

Read more books than you did last year. Pretty simple! See my progress here.

A-Z Book Challenge 2012

Read a book starting with each letter of the alphabet. Should be fun! See my progress here. (I'm doing really well on this one!)
