Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon
I participated in the Read-a-Thon for the first time in October 2011 and loved it. It takes place every April and October, and I plan to do it every time. Here are the starting blog posts for the read-a-thons I've done so far:

2012 Challenges
The 2012 Anne Rice Challenge
Hosted by me! Read Anne Rice books in 2012. Anywhere from 1, to all of them! See my progress here.
For the last few years my goal has been to read 50 books each year. In 2011, I finally achieved that goal, and in fact I read 72 books! So, in accordance with the Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge (see further down this page), my goal is to read 78 books in 2012.
Mount TBR Reading Challenge
Set a goal for a number of books to read that you owned before the year started and have never read. I'll be participating in 2012 with a goal of 40 books. See my progress here.
